Cut the stems 1-2 inches from the bottom at a 45-degree angle .

Remove any leaves that are below the waterline Check the water level every day and add extra if necessary .

Don't place flowers near the sun or any other source of extreme heat.

A routine water spritz is beneficial to every blossom.
