When your flowers arrive, just trim the stems and submerge them in water .

At a 45-degree angle, cut the stems 1-2 inches from the bottom

Take out any leaves that are below the waterline  

Every day, check the water level, and add more if needed  

Avoid putting flowers in the sun or close to any other source of intense heat

Every bloom benefits from a regular water spray .
